Surgical Services

Surgery at Missouri Baptist Medical Center in St. Louis

Whether you’re having major surgery or a minor outpatient procedure, you can be confident in the quality of care you will receive at the Surgery Center at Missouri Baptist.

The Surgery Center was designed with extensive input from the surgeons and nursing staff with you in mind. Our dedicated team prioritized efficiency of care by selecting a centrally location. This design provides each access to higher levels of care including the ICU and Cardiac Centers if needed. In addition, this reduces the number of steps for the surgical team and patients/families between the surgery and recovery process.

Dedicated Surgical Team

Patients and their families are escorted to private pre-surgery rooms, where family members meet their surgeon before and following the surgery.

To help guide you through surgery, download a copy of our Surgery Recovery Guide, which features checklists for preparing before the surgery, information about what to bring to the hospital on the day of your surgery, and planning for after the surgery.
