Breast HealthCare Center Certified as Center of Excellence for the Fifth Consecutive Year

In June 2021, the Missouri Baptist Breast HealthCare Center was named a Certified Quality Breast Center of Excellence by the National Consortium of Breast Centers for the fifth consecutive year. This is the highest certification level given by the NCBC's National Quality Measures for Breast Centers Program. The Missouri Baptist Breast HealthCare Center is the only center in Missouri to be named a Certified Quality Breast Center of Excellence in 2021.

“The Missouri Baptist Breast HealthCare Center participated in this voluntary program because we are dedicated to providing the highest quality of care to our patients. This award recognizes the excellence of our multidisciplinary team of physicians, who provide the highest level of breast care for our community while reaching a level of national excellence,” said Sadaf Summer Chaudhry, MD, medical director of the Breast HealthCare Center.

Certification is based on 44 multidisciplinary quality measures comparing performance to an average across the United States. To qualify for a Center of Excellence, a center must submit data for at least 90% of the measures and perform in the top quartile (top 25%) for at least 90% of those measures.
