Baby Nursing Stations Installed at Enterprise Center

The St. Louis Blues have partnered with Missouri Baptist Medical Center in installing two new Baby Nursing Stations at Enterprise Center - the first for the facility. The Baby Nursing Station pods will be located at Portal 18 on the plaza level and at Portal 48 on the mezzanine level.

"We are excited about the opportunity to enhance the family experience at hockey games and special events," said Rachel Kraby, Director of Marketing & Communications at Missouri Baptist Medical Center. "Thanks to the addition of the Baby Nursing Pods, our MoBap Childbirth Center experience is extended beyond the walls of our hospital and into a place where so many new families spend their time."

Families can utilize the Baby Nursing Stations to feed their baby or pump in a private, pod-like environment. The freestanding, Mamavas house two spacious benches, a fold-down table and power outlets. The pods can be locked and unlocked with the free Mamava app and Bluetooth-enabled SmartLock. The 4-foot by 8-foot pod is meant for individual use, but can fit more than one person, as well as mothers with babies and other children in tow. The Enterprise Center hospitality staff will be trained to assist families interested in using the pods.

"We are very excited to introduce the Nursing Pods to our guests. The continued renovations at the Enterprise Center are focused on creating top-notch guest experiences. These Nursing Pods show our commitment to our guests and their families," said Lauren Carro, Senior Manager, Guest Services and Event Operations.

"Missouri Baptist is excited to partner with the Blues and provide moms with baby nursing stations, which will provide families an option to feed their little one in a clean, quiet, private environment, while still enjoying the St. Louis Blues hockey experience," said Pam Brouder, MSN, RN, NE-BC, Director of Women and Infants at Missouri Baptist Medical Center.

The Baby Nursing Stations are an extension of the MoBap Baby Blue Notes club, which launched September 2018. For more information on the #MoBapBabyBlueNotes or to schedule a tour of the Childbirth Center, visit MoBapBaby.org/BabyBlueNotes.
