Although it might be mini, the MoBap NICU is mighty, delivering the extraordinary care associated with a large academic medical center to our tiniest patients.

Located on the first floor of the main tower, the Ballas Boutique delivers gifts and flowers to patients and employees Missouri Baptist Medical Center. All proceeds from the gift shop benefit the Missouri Baptist Healthcare Foundation.

MoBap donors have funded a new Cardiovascular Hybrid Operating Suite that will allow multiple interventions to be performed in one operating suite.

Our vision is to distinguish MoBap as the premier provider of women, infant and pediatric services by offering exceptional, seamless, integrated, multidisciplinary programs to childbearing families and their children across the continuum from pre-conception through postpartum and into the pediatric lifespan.

Howard and Phyllis Loiterstein and Margie Imo stepped forward to support some key patient experience improvements in the Cancer Center at Missouri Baptist Medical Center.

Each year, Champions for Care (CFC) make a collective major gift to MoBap through designated gifts to a fundraising project focused on improving care for our patients. A “Champion” is a donor who directs a gift of $500 or more to this special project.

Donors to Missouri Baptist Healthcare Foundation play an active role in improving patient care by improving patient care by supporting multiple educational opportunities for health care professionals.

For several years, neighbors and best friends Jean and Joyce have volunteered at the Missouri Baptist Medical Center (MoBap) gift shop. “We’ve met amazing people. Sometimes, it’s a grandparent who is over the moon about a new baby or someone who is going home after an extended stay. Other times, it might be a family member whose loved one is struggling,” Joyce says.

Being with your loved ones while they are in the hospital is important to their healing and overall wellbeing, and we are happy to welcome you to Missouri Baptist Medical Center.

In 2021, Russell (Russ) Horne and William Sibert were diagnosed with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). They both benefited from molecular profiling of their cancer, known as precision oncology, which identified different and effective treatment approaches.

Looking forward to resuming their active lifestyle in 2022, Connie and Arlin have two trips planned early in the year. Connie said that her heart surgery has given her a new lease on life. "Every time I'm at Missouri Baptist, I feel cared for, listened to and taken seriously. I always tell people that if you have heart problems, go to MoBap."

The new technology at MoBap — robotic magnetic navigation (RMN) — introduces the benefits of robotic precision and safety to cardiac ablation, a common, minimally invasive procedure used to treat arrhythmias

Michael, a 51-year-old business owner, was a one-pack-a-day cigarette smoker for 30 years who quit in 2017. As someone who enjoyed good health, Michael never worried about his lungs. However, chronic shoulder pain that he attributed to over-exercising and weightlifting began to bother him. On a whim, Michael Googled "causes of shoulder pain" and was surprised when lung cancer came up in the search result.

Each year, a special group of MoBap donors called Champions for Care designate their giving to a group fund-raising project that will elevate the quality of patient care. In 2020, that project was MoBap’s lung cancer screening program.

The new CARES (Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security) Act provided a few key provisions for your charitable goals.

Carrie Rao realized early in the pandemic that masks were in high demand. As a quilter, Rao had a significant stash of fabric that she sewed into masks and generously donated more than 200 of them to the community, including Missouri Baptist Medical Center.

Food was a welcome sight at the height of the COVID-19 outbreak, especially since the hospital cafeteria was at limited capacity.

The Champions For Care program allows individual donors to collectively fund a project to directly improve patient care at MoBap. By pooling their resources, the Champions accomplish more than they could individually.
